1. The Native Desktop Application
When you install and run NallaNeram Charm on macOS or Windows:
- No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, IP address, hardware serial numbers, or location.
- Local Preferences Only: Your chosen charms, custom emoji talismans, physics spring settings, and menu bar preferences are stored strictly inside your local user directory on your own device.
- Zero Tracking SDKs: There are no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Mixpanel, or third-party monitoring SDKs embedded inside the native application binary.
2. Website & Web Companion Analytics
When you visit the nallaneramcharm.app website or use the in-browser screen companion:
We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free anonymous analytics (via Vercel Web Analytics) solely to count aggregate page views and popular charm blessings. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not persist identifiers, and does not build advertising profiles.
Analytics events never include your IP address, payment details, or any text entered into the custom emoji field.
3. Software Updates & Sparkle
The macOS application periodically checks a static version manifest file hosted on our CDN via Sparkle. The Windows app checks a lightweight static JSON manifest.
This check is a standard HTTP GET request for a static file that informs you when new cultural charms or physics updates are available. NallaNeram Charm attaches no unique device token or user identifier to this request.
4. 100% Always Free Guarantee
NallaNeram Charm is 100% free software. We do not process payments, we do not require subscription credit cards, and there are no paywalls or locked charms. You will never receive an invoice, renewal notice, or marketing email from us.
5. Open Platform & Community Contact
If you ever request a new cultural charm or report a bug, we welcome your feedback. Any communication you initiate with us is treated with strict confidentiality.
If you have questions or suggestions regarding this policy, please reach out to us at hello@nallaneramcharm.app or open an issue on our GitHub repository.
